DWFastrac

DWFastrac is a toolset which loads and manages a Data Warehouse environment from one or more source (operational) systems.

How it works

DWFastrac utilizes a Metadata Database to store customer defined data sources and the Data Warehouse. From the Metadata Database, DWFastrac can automatically generate highly efficient procedures for all necessary ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations.

Working with the Metadata Database actively assists IT professionals with the design of the Data Warehouse itself, because it leads them in the right direction to create good structures that will simplify reporting and analysis of the warehoused data.

As well as the initial load, DWFastrac manages the overnight refresh of the Data Warehouse with recent changes, and facilitates recovery from the errors which inevitably arise as time passes.
